I have seen short clips of backward wheelies, but they always seemed to be a hoax. Either it was a wheelie being played on reverse. Just proving that it is possible, Joel Weston sponsored by Leader Bike busting bar spins while doing a backward wheelie up close and personal. The progression of fix gear riders is mind-blowing.

Nothing’s cooler than little kids in exceptionally bad-ass costumes, which is why I feel obligated to post this tiny rendition of Voltron. I love pictures like these, because you know someday this girl’s going to grow up and thanks to the internet, this will be floating around forever. “MOM, why is there a picture of me dressed up like a robot on the internet?” This being said, I’m totally dressing my kid up in crazy crap when I eventually churn some out some day. I wish I had that costume when I was kid. Actually, I wish I had it NOW!

NEW BIKE DAY.

About time I get this Samson build completed. Built from the ground up. Feels good that I was able to do everything but powder-coat the frame. I can now rest on what felt like an eternity searching for the right parts at the right prices. Took it out this past weekend and even did some trails through SF. Let's ride!

KING OF THE HILL.

 S A T U R D A Y  M A R C H 6TH. Eugene's King of the Hill track bike invite (no brakes allowed). Race start 12 noon sharp. Location the polo fields SF.  Entry fee: $5.00. Top three take all. 6 check points through out SF, the first to make it up the hill is the king. Lots of cool prizes to be handed out.

CHINESE NEW YEAR PARADE IN SF.

2010 Chinese New Year Parade down in Union Square, SF.  One of the craziest parades with smoke bombs and mega-blast-poppers exploding off every corner. Happy Year of the Tiger!

TOKYO TO OSAKA 2009.

12 riders & a 3 man film crew (from LA/SF/NY /HI/Berlin) are flying to Japan. The plan is to ride track bikes from Tokyo to Osaka over 8 days and make a film about the whole thing. The intended route and all other trip info is posted on the website.

AC TRANSIT BUS FIGHT WITH VIETNAM TOM.

 Another fight on the transit in Oakland, CA. This punk gets his ass handed to him from a 67 yr old man! What the instigator was not aware of is that the bearded old man was a Vietnam War Veteran. Messing with the wrong guy & you will get some sense knocked into you.

NEW RIDE.

Living in SF you quickly learn the troubles of finding parking. The narrow streets, cars hugging the curb to avoid their side mirrors from becoming knocked off, & the limited parking spaces. Being out in SF for 2 years, we quickly found out that finding a parking space to accommodate a Honda Accord was more challenging than we thought it would be. Solution to the problem, a 2005 Toyota Scion xB.
